Boy Scouts Troop 1040 was the grateful beneficiary of a HACF grant that allowed them to purchase two Kayaks. The kayaks have been used on numerous occasions by scouts and parents on local lakes for entertainment and more importantly for safety water training. As the scouts grow, mature and become young productive adults in Our Community, the Kayaks will always be part of the troop and will be passed on to the next young scout waiting to learn the joys and benefits of the great outdoor activities. Building a Great Community!
