2020 HACF GRANT RECIPIENTS

Forty-eight grants totaling $55,825 were announced earlier this fall by the Highland Area Community Foundation grants committee. Grants awarded this year bring the total of Foundation grants awarded in the last 25 years to $1,138,812 benefiting 100 plus different groups.

Traditionally, these grant awards are announced at our Annual Grants Banquet sponsored by Busey Bank and held in October of each year. This year would have been our 25th anniversary banquet. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the 2020 banquet was cancelled. Some grant recipients were mailed their checks, while others were able to receive their grant awards at the Foundation office by appointment.
